The Home Bar

The Home Bar 2-03.jpg

Bye-bye dry January! The bar is open, and we’ve re-hydrated in February. In 2020 we saw a new kind of bar, the “Home Bar.” With less opportunities to bar hop this year, we’ve had to bring the party home. Sometimes there’s nothing better than sipping on your favorite cocktail from the comfort of your sofa. We’ve all been enjoying some boozy nights in… Is it time to reimagine your home bar situation? Here are some bar carts and home bar accessories I’m loving right now…

This cart has a sunny disposition. Cheerfully painted rattan, this bar cart radiates fun. Pair with tortoise shell glasses and a colorful ice bucket. Cheers!

Color me nepotistic, but we definitely have a soft spot for this “Griffin” console. Heaps of storage for a dry bar. Top this console with this lacquer tray in Licorice black.

CB2 never disappoints. Inside, shelves hold flat bottomed glasses or flip to store wine bottles in divots. Paint this if you would like to see a more vibrant color.

A stunner. Hugely unexpected. Plenty of room for some tequila bottles, a bowl of limes, and a dash of salt.

It’s always fun to include home bars in my interior design projects. This Vail mountain cabin features a rustic bar cart with all the fixins.

This Greenwood Village residence showcases a swanky home bar set up, complete with a classic grand piano… Because everyone’s voice sounds better after a few Old Fashioneds, right?

Bring the party to the garden with this chic bar cart on wheels. Don’t forget the Dom Pérignon!
