Curbless Shower

Curbless shower - No longer just for ADA bathrooms. A seamless transition from bathroom floor to shower floor. I love the clean lines and the uninterrupted transition between spaces. Delineate by changing the pattern or scale of tile from the bathroom floor to the shower floor. Shower floors need to be accurately pitched to the drain and typically a smaller format tile or a sheeted mosaic works best.

A herringbone laid bathroom floor transitions to a 4” x 4” square on the diagonal for the shower floor. Custom, Shiplap Corian is fabricated in the shower to match the painted shiplap bathroom walls.  This clean, grout-free look is both stylish and maintenance-free!

Italian Bardiglio honed marble is the perfect pairing for custom “blues” scallop tiles from Fireclay. This bathroom was carefully designed and tiles scaled to avoid having to compromise oddly cut tiles in undesired locations.

This blue and white tile combination steals the show in this otherwise simple white bathroom. It is so lovely that a shower curb is not breaking up the pattern.
