Ramey Caulkins has been working in the design business for the past 15 years. She spent 8 years at Ann Sacks Tile & Stone, a division of the Interiors Group of the Kohler Company. Ramey was the Hospitality Director for Ann Sacks, selling and sourcing products for luxury hotel brands such as Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton and Starwood Hotels.
In 2003 Ramey left Ann Sacks to start her own interior decorating firm, Griffin Design Source. Since then, in addition to having two beautiful children, Ramey has worked for numerous residential and commercial clients on projects as diverse as decorating a gourmet burger joint to designing her own line of whimsical women’s rain jackets – The Rainy Ramey.
While the majority of her firm’s work has been done in Denver, she has attracted fans and clients from all over the country as well as from Europe.
Additionally, Ramey has done extensive consulting work for her former employer, the Kohler Co., including the design of a new line of Kohler tile in 2008.
In July 2008, Coastal Living featured Griffin Design Source’s work in an eight-page spread of a remodeled summer cottage in Midcoast Maine.
Ramey lives just south of Denver Country Club with her husband and two children.
